1st job: sales staff at advertising company, 2ndjob: sales promotion at a company of precision parts

- Working for mover, transport, restaurant, maker, sewing, design and sales

- Why did you decide to work in Bali?
There was a job opportunity at a favorite place.
- It’s my dream to do business in Bali in the future.
- Because I love surfing and Bali.

1.It seemed I could get a position to create website.
2.There are many opportunities I could do.
3.I thought the company gives me a good salary if I get good results.

- Even though I don’t help our guest directly, it is still possible for me to make their trip memorable.

It depends on a position but I don’t usually do that.

- What is your dream or future goal?
- I want to found a company after working all over the world with my computer.

- What is the atmosphere in HIRO-CHAN like?
- Everyone is serious about their job. I don’t recommend working here if you think work is laid back because of the Bali atmosphere.
- Everyone focus on their job.
- There are many creative female staffs.
- It is like working at a Japanese office. Everyone is working seriously.
- How about relationships among staffs?
There are many various people in age 20th to 50th. We often go out together.
- It seems everyone has good relationships each other.

- What do you like about Bali?
Colorful nature, color of the sunset sky, shade of palm trees
- Good waves.
- Wave, ocean, wind. Nature and ideas of the people from all over the world are like Asian version of Ibiza Island.
- There is a hope. Japan has anything except that.
- Where is your favorite place?
- Club! I go to the Bounty after midnight.
- Uluwatu.
- Right side of Geger beach. Dream beach at Lembongan. I also like Jimbaran.

- What is your favorite phrase in Indonesian?
- Apa Saja Boreh= Anything is ok.
- Boleh = Ok
- Sayangku = Beloved one. (It can mean sun, live, I love you.)
- Tidak apa-apa = Never mind. Doesn’t matter.
- What do you dislike about Bali?
- Few people who takes advantages of foreigners and tourists.
- I can’t think of any.
- All the places have something not good. I just live my life here with my best.
- Traffic jam.
- What do you do for your meal?
I bring sandwiches for lunch. For dinner, I order delivery food or don’t eat anything.

- Having dishes of all over the world in Kuta or Seminyak. It only takes 15 ? 20 minutes by
Motor bike. It’s great!
- I have lunch at home and go to warung (cheap food stand) for dinner.
- Where do you live?
- Apartment for foreigners in Jimbaran.
- Kost (local apartment).
- A house with 3 bed rooms.
- I used to live in kost but live in a house from this year.
- How is living there?
- It includes laundry, cleaning and security service, so great!
- Comfortable.
- I want get married and move out.
- It is not the greatest compared with Japan but this is Bali.
- What is the toughest experience you had by living in Bali?
- Settle down with Balinese who has different values.
- I don’t have any.
- I forgot.
- Bathing in cold water when I got sick. It is common not to have hot water and even shower
at house.
- What your advice to enjoy working in Bali?
Make your own rules about how to communicate with people.
- Have many friends. Have a hobby.
- Find something you can do only in Bali.
- Don’t bring Japanese value.
- What do you do for your day-off?
Going to Manga (comic books) cafe, going to nail salon, shopping, cooking, clubbing.
- Surfing.
- Surfing, taking a nap, listening to music and net-surfing.

- What do you usually use for transfer?
- I started using a taxi to go to the office. It’s Rp. 25,000 for one way.
- Motorbike.
- I use a motorbike.
- I rent a motorbike (Rp. 600,000 per month).
- How much is your living expenses?
- About ¥100,000?
- About ¥40,000
- ¥3 〜40,000
- About ¥30,000 It is for food, daily necessities and hanging out.
